My family recently took a vacation at Las Cigueenas, and it turned out to be quite an experience. Nestled on the edge of Trujillo, the hotel is just a short stroll from the charming historical center, where we enjoyed exploring various shops and entertainment options. As a history teacher, I appreciated the blend of past and present, perfect for igniting my children's curiosity. We found the hotel to be quite family-friendly, especially with open spaces for the kids to play. While my little ones are under two, it was reassuring to know that the hotel accommodates young children warmly. The parking was very convenient, allowing us to explore the beautiful countryside without hassle. While the hotel has an older vibe reminiscent of the 1980s, it suited us just fine. Our room was comfortable, although the bathroom could use some updates. We had a couple of meals at the hotel, where the kids enjoyed the usual Spanish fare-chips with everything seems to be a consistent theme!
